Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best through play, hands-on experiences and environment that is safe, happy, challenging and caring. That is why we are offering you and your child a warm, and welcoming place where they can learn, discover, communicate and create. Our place was created in special attention for your child’s safety. We want to create a home-like atmosphere for each child with following routines that are appropriate to their individual needs.
AGNIESZKA (AGNES)
Originally from Poland. Agnes studied nursing, and has 14 years of experience working with children which led her into the education field. She has all the trainings and requirements needed to provide a healthy and safe environment for young children. In addition to being an early childhood teacher, she is currently getting her Montessori certificate.
“She is not only able to see the world through children’s eyes but takes the time to listen to their ideas and explore the world with them. “
katarzyna (KASIA)
Originally from Poland, attended Brooklyn College where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education, concentration in Art.
She has over 10 years’ experience caring for children ages 3 months to 8 years old, as well as experience teaching in variety of schools and preschools, including Reggio Emilia and Montessori.
Kasia holds CPR and First Aid certifications. As well various trainings approved by NYS Office of Children and Family Services. “She is trustworthy, responsible, and reliable, with excellent judgement and common sense. She wins the trust and love of children immediately.”
ANNA
Anna has been teaching at Little Bees for almost 3 years, and she has 15 years of experience working with children from ages 9 months to 15 years old.
Anna is always attentive to the students needs and enjoys teaching the children through play. She has a beautiful voice, and singing is her hobby. She is a fun and engaging young teacher who loves Arts and Crafts. One of her favorite children’s books is The very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
ANYA
Originally from Ukraine, she holds her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has five years experience teaching children 2-6 years old. Anya loves helping young children work independently and respectively, allowing the joy of learning and enhancing each child’s individual wonder.
She is very sweet, motivated, and creative teacher. She is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
In her free time, she loves reading books, hiking, traveling and yoga.
